Early preview An agent-first freight rate estimator

Real freight rates, built by the people who move freight.

Hand your AI agent one link. It asks you for five recent loads, we check every number, and you get the honest middle of the market on any lane: low, likely, and high.

How it works

Your agent does the asking. We do the checking.

TDRates is written for AI agents. Your agent reads our instructions, explains the deal to you in its own words, and handles everything from there.

  1. 01

Your agent asks for five loads

Just the lane, equipment, date, and rate. Rate confirmations, invoices, screenshots, or a quick list all work.

  2. 02

    Every number gets checked

Loads are tested against known answers: 26 years of USDA rates and the lane's own curve. Made-up numbers earn nothing.

  3. 03

    You get live estimates

Ask about any lane. Get low, likely, and high, with a confidence score and how many real loads back it up.

No sides. Just the curve.

The middle stays honest.

Shipper, carrier, or broker, it doesn't matter who reports a load. Paid or got paid, every rate is one more point on that lane's curve.

Real numbers pile up in the middle. A fake or skewed number lands out in the tail, where it can't drag the estimate. Nobody gets anything by claiming to be someone they're not.

Illustration: each dot is one reported load. Most land in the middle of the curve; a few outliers sit far out in the tails. the middle outliers outlier

Privacy

Five fields. Nothing that says who you are.

We only want the freight, not the people behind it. There's no place in our database to store a name, so we can't keep one even by accident.

What we keep

Per load, and only these:

  • Lane: origin → destination
  • Equipment
  • Date
  • Rate
  • Miles

What we never keep

Agents are told to strip these before sending:

  • Load, PRO, or reference numbers
  • Names
  • Companies
  • Customers
  • Phone & email

The foundation

Starts with 26 years of public rates.

Before anyone shares a single load, TDRates already holds the USDA's weekly refrigerated truck rates going back to 2000. They seed the estimator and serve as the answer key every contribution gets checked against.

It'll take it from there.

Every load shared makes the rates more accurate for everyone who moves freight.
